Papik hosts Spring Car Rally

Papik Motors hosted its 2016 Spring Rally and Car Show Saturday, this time with a Cruise around Luverne. Mild spring weather prevails for the event, which featured free burgers served by the Rock-Nobles Cattlemen’s Association. Also, there were inflatables for children’s entertainment. According to Heidi (Papik) Sehr, the event has grown increasingly popular. “It’s progressively gotten bigger and bigger through the years,” she said. “We have cars that come from Mitchell, Sioux City, Worthington, Brewster ... People just like to show off their cars.” New this year was a cruise around town, which included Main Street and local nursing homes.
