Hallstrom closing HGS Gallery, opening Rock River Relics in its place

Lori Hallstrom made a business announcement Friday about her downtown store, HGS Gallery.
"It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that I will be closing HGS Gallery at the end of June," she wrote in an email to Luverne Chamber members.
But she also announced a new venture that she'll run instead.
 "My new business venture will be opening this fall here in my building at 208 E Main Street," Hallstrom said. 
"The name of my new business is Rock River Relics. I will specialize in stained glass, architectural salvage, antiques and unique, one-of-a-kind finds."
She said her last date open as HGS Gallery will be Thursday, June 23, from 5 to 9 p.m., which is also the downtown Throwback Thursday night,
Luverne Area Chamber Director Jane Wildung Lanphere encourages people to stop at the store while taking in the events downtown.
"Tell her thank you for all she has done for bringing traffic to Luverne and maybe you can find that one last treasure you want to purchase from HGS Gallery," Lanphere said. 
"It has been an honor to work with Lori, and I look forward to seeing the growth and development of her new endeavor." 
Hallstrom said she looks forward to Thursday night and to her coming venture this fall.
"I am excited to continue doing something that I love," she said. "And a I am happy that it will be something that lends itself to my glass business."
