Steen to host fun-filled day Saturday, July 19


The town of Steen will host a celebration on Saturday, July 19.

A pancake breakfast will be from 8 to 10 a.m, sponsored by Helping Building Communities Stronger (HBSC) with representatives from the Steen, Hills and Beaver Creek area.  

Pancakes will be served on Main Street under a tent. In case of rain the event will be moved to the City Hall.  

An Antique Tractor Pull will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Vyron Paulsen softball field.

A Cruise-In Car/Bike/Tractor Show will be on Main Street at 2 p.m. People's Choice awards will be given for first, second and third place, $50, $25 and $25.  

This event is being sponsored by the Steen Reformed Church. Free hot dogs, chips and a beverage will also be served.  

In the evening around 7 p.m. a community softball game will begin at the softball diamond. Dads, moms and kids are invited to play.
