The meat locker in Hills reported a burglary that happened in the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 22.
According to Hills Meat Locker owner Tedd Larson, the burglar used a crow bar to break out a window in the overhead garage door in the back (east side) of the building.
“They didn’t destroy anything — just took an undisclosed amount of money,” Larson said.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office was called when Larson noticed the broken window and missing money.
The officers collected fingerprints, and the incident is under investigation.
There are no suspects, but anyone with information about the burglary is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 283-5000.
