The Luverne Cardinal football team capped the regular season by winning its third-straight game Wednesday.

Luverne scored 21-first half points to set the stage for a 27-7 home win over Redwood Valley.

The other two teams from the Star Herald coverage experienced different fates in their regular season finales.

Adrian lost a 35-0 home decision to Minneota, and Hills-Beaver Creek came up on the short end of a 52-48 decision against Westbrook-Walnut Grove in Westbrook.
