Hospice Cottage observes 15 years; accepts $100,000 from Josendahl estate

Luverne Area Foundation executive director Emily Crabtree (left) presented a check for $100,000 to the Sanford Luverne hospice cottage from the Ella Mae and Abner Josendahl estate during a 15th anniversary celebration at the cottage Friday, Sept. 20. Hospice program manager Tammy Moeller accepted the gift, which will go into an endowment where the interest it generates will be used to fund future needs at the cottage. The gift is the largest to the hospice cottage to date. After the donation a basket of Nestle 100 Grand candy bars was shared with those attending the event.
