Erica Thier, Adrian, and Halden Van Wyhe, Hills, were married Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Christian Reformed Church in Worthington. The Rev. Spencer Aalsburg officiated.
Parents of the couple are Ron and Kellie Thier, Adrian, and Howard and Heidi Van Wyhe, Hills.
Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Kathy Velgersdyk and vocalist Carrie Bakker.
Matron of honor was Emily Brown. Maids of honor were Elissa Thier and Elizabeth Thier. Bridesmaids were Haley Van Wyhe, Hattie Van Wyhe, Jayme Wiertzema, Morgan Lynn and Britney Mouw. Personal attendants were Janaye Sjoberg and Alyssa Thier. Flower girls were Ava Brown, Mara Thier and Olivia Deelstra.
Best man was Heath Van Wyhe. Groomsmen were Travis Brown, Michael Gjernes, Brady Velgersdyk, Tyler Larson, Chris White, Jordan Carlson and Brady Leuthold. Ushers were Tony Thier, Mitchell Sieve and Jordan Larson.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Worthington Event Center.
Erica graduated from Adrian High School in 2009 and from Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls, S.D., in 2013 with a degree in marketing design. She works at Tollefson Publishing, Luverne, as the editor and graphic designer of the Hills Crescent.
Halden graduated from Hills-Beaver Creek High School in 2009 and is attending the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, S.D., where he is majoring in elementary education. He is currently in his student teaching term teaching first-graders at the Worthing Elementary School in Worthing, S.D.
They live in Sioux Falls.
