Strange spring and early summer weather delayed the opening at Hansen Berry Farm, but it did not stop the hungry berry pickers from coming during their opening week. The farm, located east of Beaver Creek, opened Wed., June 26. By Friday the parking lot was full, as was their strawberry patch. Yet there were plenty of berries to be picked. Visitors fill their buckets with ripe strawberries before hitching a ride on a flatbed being pulled by an antique Farmall tractor. The farm is open from 7 a.m. to noon daily throughout the season, which will last another week or two.
