The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ basketball team lost a game in heart-breaking fashion Friday in Hills.
Taking on Red Rock Central on their home floor, H-BC rallied from a 40-34 halftime deficit to take a 63-62 lead late in the game.
Unfortunately for H-BC, it was an edge that wouldn’t last.
RRC’s Henry Rogotzke converted a three-point play with 10 seconds remaining to give the Falcons a 65-63 victory.
Jeff Sandbulte (19 points and four assists), Carey Taubert (17 points and 11 rebounds) and Dylan Gehrke (12 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals) led H-BC statistically.
Jon Gallagher pulled down 10 rebounds, while Dalton Bass added seven rebounds and five assists to the cause.
