The Hills-Beaver Creek girls racked up their third Red Rock Conference win of the season when they entertained Red Rock Central Friday in Hills.
H-BC rolled to a 25-16 lead in the first half and withstood every challenge the Falcons had to offer in the second half to secure a 56-48 victory.
“We had some opportunities to bust the game open, but we couldn’t quite do it,” said H-BC coach Jason Blosmo.
“It’s a conference win and we’ll take it.”
Haley Van Wyhe tossed in 15 points and Hattie Van Wyhe collected 15 rebounds for the Patriots, who ended a four-game slide with the win.
Paige Leuthold turned in a 13-point, 10-rebound effort for H-BC, while Meghan Leuthold kicked in 13 points.
The 6-11 Patriots play in Fulda Thursday.
