PTO bingo and a meeting

The Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organization hosted a soup supper/bingo night on Friday, Nov. 16. The event raised $900 for the group, which provides financial support to the staff and students at the elementary school. The PTO recently purchased a stoplight noise monitor for the elementary lunchroom. The light turns yellow when the volume starts to escalate in the lunchroom. When students get too loud, the light turns red and the students must stop talking. PTO Members will meet for the annual general membership meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the elementary school.
