Buying books for home helps buy books at school

The Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary library has been transformed into a mini Scholastic book store. The book fair welcomes students and visitors to purchase books, posters and gifts. A portion of the sale goes back to the school in the form of credit toward future book purchases. The book fair will be open during the day until Nov. 2 and during conferences on Thursday Oct. 2 and Nov. 1.

Later this month the high school library will benefit from shoppers purchasing books from Barnes and Noble. Books purchased online or in the store on Nov. 10 will be counted toward the H-BC High

Twin sisters Melanie and Leslie Salazar do some shopping after school on Tuesday afternoon.
